Donovan McNabb expects reinvigorated Vikings

Redskins quarterback Donovan McNabb copy van cleef baby earrings is well aware that the Dallas Cowboys won two games after they fired their head coach midseason. Players at times take on a new attitude when there's a coaching change, and McNabb expects to see a Vikings team this Sunday that has a similar hunger to the Cowboys, now led by Jason Garrett.

"The same is going to go for Minnesota, I believe," McNabb said Tuesday during his weekly van cleef lotus earrings copy appearance on ESPN 980. "The guys are going to play good for Leslie [Frazier, the Vikings' interim coach]. So we have to match that."

McNabb is coming off a strong performance in Sunday's 19 16 overtime win at Tennessee. He completed 30 of 50 passes for 376 yards. He had a touchdown and an interception for a quarterback rating of 81.7, only the second time in 10 games with the Redskins that he's topped 80.0. Still, he thinks he could've had an even better game.

"I missed some throws that I'd love to have back," he said. "It could've been one of those passing days to talk about."

McNabb was sacked three times by the Titans, but he actually enjoyed pretty good protection much of the afternoon, especially considering the Redskins had three different combinations of offensive linemen in the first half alone. Was it the line's best performance of the year?

"I will not go into that," McNabb said. "Our guys did a great job."

McNabb said he thinks Artis Hicks, who missed Sunday's game with a thigh injury, will be able to return this Sunday, which could bolster a battered line.

McNabb currently has a passer rating of 76.1, which would stand as the worst single season rating of his 12 year career since his rookie season, a year in which he started only six games. He's averaging 264 yards per game and has 10 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. If he can't turn those numbers around, this would mark the first time in his career that McNabb has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns.

McNabb turns 34 on Thanksgiving Day. Asked whether he thinks he'll play as long as 41 year old Brett Favre, the Redskins' foe this week, McNabb left himself little wiggle room.

Vikings may be reinvigorated with Frazier . but they also have a massive upgrade with Sidney Rice's return. He's their 1 WR and had a monster year last season . most people don't realize he was 4th in the league in receiving yards . and he'd have been 2nd if Favre hadn't taken a few weeks to discover the guy.

Rice is big and a very good deep threat, which opens up the underneath stuff that Favre thrives on. Rice makes guys like Harvin and Shiancoe better. You can cover Berrian, the guy Rice replaces, with a 3rd tier CB. Unless you've got Nnamdi or Revis, Rice is a guy that typically needs double coverage.

Not sure if the Vikes turn it around, but if they do, Frazier will get a lot of credit. But they missed Sidney Rice . a ton. Thing is, they aren't missing him now. If anyone believes the Skins will loose to the Vikings or the Cows this year, then you are burgundy and gold deficient. This will be the first blow out game with a Skins win. Our players have to make up for the embarrassment we received from the Eagles at home, never again this year! Anything diamond clover earrings copy short of a serious beating of the Vikes is unacceptable.
